Image Systems' business unit RemaSawco receives an order from ATA Timber worth over 7 MSEK
ATA Timber and RemaSawco have agreed on the delivery of a full-quality board scanner, along with complementary products and systems for strength grading, moisture measurement, and support for its sawmill in Sandsjöfors. Additionally, an agreement has been made for upgrades at the sawmill in Moheda. The total order value amounts to just over 7 MSEK.
ATA Timber R-Vik AB is investing in an upgrade of the planing mill at its Sandsjöfors sawmill and has chosen RemaSawco’s market-leading full-quality board scanner, RS-BoardScannerQ. The order also includes complementary systems for strength grading and board-end inspection of boards, RS-StrengthGrader and RS-EndSorter, as well as an extension of the system for automatic moisture measurement.
The delivery includes commissioning, training, and a top-tier service and maintenance agreement (SLA - Extended).
In addition to the order for the Sandsjöfors sawmill, ATA Timber has also ordered upgrades for the sawmill in Moheda. This includes upgrades to the existing RS-BoardScannerQ and optimization software RS-Opt for both log sorting and the small-diameter line. This agreement also includes a top-tier support contract (SLA).
The total order value amounts to just over 7 MSEK.
Delivery, installation, and initial commissioning are scheduled for autumn 2025.
"Once again, ATA Timber demonstrates that it is a force to be reckoned with in the future. This time through strategic investments to maintain competitiveness at its sawmills in Sandsjöfors and Moheda."
says Emilien Saindon, CEO of RemaSawco.
