Image Systems’ Business Area RemaSawco Receives Order Worth Approximately SEK 7.5 Million from Bäckebo Sawmill

RemaSawco has signed an agreement with Bäckebo Sawmill for the delivery of a full-featured board scanner, including supplementary products and systems for strength grading and moisture measurement as well as a support agreement. The total order value amounts to approximately SEK 7.5 million.

Bäckebo Sawmill is investing in its board handling line by upgrading both mechanical equipment and control systems, as well as implementing automated quality assessment and strength grading. The order includes RemaSawco’s market-leading full-featured board scanner, the RS-BoardScannerQ (6 meters), complemented by the RS-StrengthGrader system for strength grading, and additional components for automated moisture measurement.

The delivery also includes commissioning, training, and a Service Level Agreement (SLA).

The total order value amounts to approximately SEK 7.5 million.

Delivery, installation, and initial commissioning are scheduled for autumn 2025.
